I didn't think I'd be doing this for a long time yet, but I've been researching Stannah stair lifts these past few days.

My parents are getting a bit frail and the thought of moving them to a bungalow or, worse, a care home is just too much and there's no way they'd go for it. So we're looking into clubbing together (my brothers and sisters and I) and getting them a stairlift installed to help them in-between floors of their house.

It's a fair price, but luckily there are a few of us to split the cost, and the peace of mind we'll have will be absolutely priceless. I've heard way too many horror stories over the years of accidents on the stairs, with young and able-bodied people yet alone the elderly!

I think we've found the right deal, so we're off to visit the Stannah stair lift show room tomorrow.
