So, apparently dropping your lovely iPhone 4 onto the road as you get out of your car isn't a very good way to take care of it.

My evidence to such a theory? Exhibit A:

It hurts just to look at doesn't it?

I went straight to my nearest Apple store where most of the guys working on the Genius Bar hissed in horror at the state of my faithful and beloved iPhone 4.

They were great though, I was worried I'd have to pay about £400 for a brand new one, but they gave me a flat replacement fee and took the poor smashed old one away.

I was worried I'd have to take out a Wonga.com loan to be able to afford the replacement - because I couldn't live without my iPhone until next pay day, I simply couldn't! - but the replacement fee was really reasonable!

Thank you Apple!

I didn't think I'd be doing this for a long time yet, but I've been researching Stannah stair lifts these past few days. My parents are getting a bit frail and the thought of moving them to a bungalow or, worse, a care home is just too much and there's no way they'd go for it. So we're looking into clubbing together (my brothers and sisters and I) and getting them a stairlift installed to help them in-between floors of their house. It's a fair price, but luckily there are a few of us to split the cost, and the ...

Thinking about launching a new website? Then the first thing that you need to think about, before you even get into the whole malark of designing your site is setting up at decent CMS and CDN – Content Mangement System and Content Delivery system. These are the very foundations of your network and will make life a whole lot easier in the long run of things. It’s better to get it all out of the way before you even start designing. Because imagine spending a fortune getting the right look for your site only to discover it doesn’t format very ...

The oldest TV set in Britain that actually still works! It was bought in 1936 when there was only three hours of television a day and is going up for auction. I bet it ends up using a lot of electricity to just chug along! I wonder if it’s new owner is going to compare gas and electricity prices to get the best price! Picture: Daily Mail & BNPS.co.uk
So, I don’t know if you know but despite waiting for almost 50 years, the wait is finally over. Marshall the legendary amp makers and purveyors of rock have finally joined the 21st century of portable music and released headphones. I don’t know much about the specification for these things but they will undoubtedly be amazing. On looks alone though they have that trademark iconic black faux cracked leather look with white logo. I can see these being very popular with the college kids and 80s throwbacks amongst us. Retailing at £90 too is not anywhere near as bad as ...
